Principal's Corner

Welcome to the Principal's Corner

Faller provides a balanced, comprehensive, integrated core curriculum including the California Common Core State Standards striving to meet the needs of all students at each grade level.  The staff believes that "Every Child Learns and All Children Come First". Teachers collaborate weekly in Professional Learning Communities to discuss academic strategies and analyze student academic data.  Our site has embraced the Character Counts program focusing on being TRRFCC- Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsible, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.  Students are recognized and rewarded for demonstrating good character.

Research finds that parents that volunteer in schools have students that are more likely to be successful that are more likely to be successful in school.  Please consider volunteering in a myriad of opportunities including serving on our PTO or School Site Council.  Maybe you would like to listen to students read or help shelf books in the library or chaperone on a field trip or prepare a project for the teacher at home.  Whatever interests you, we can find a worthwhile volunteering experience for you.  Just let us know you are interested in volunteering.

We encourage you to review our 2015 parent survey results on this website.  Ninety-five percent of our parents responded to the survey showing remarkable support and confidence in the education their student is receiving at Faller School.  The staff and I are very proud to offer the very best education experience for all students.

Please feel free to contact me about any questions, compliments, concerns or comments.  We value your input.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Melissa Christman
Principal
